What is The Role of a
CMA?

Certified Medication Aides are healthcare professionals who have undergone extensive training to become proficient in administering medication to patients. They are entrusted with the critical responsibility of ensuring that patients receive the correct medication at the right time. In addition to this, they are also responsible for providing compassionate care to residents and assisting RNs and LPNs on duty. These professionals are expected to demonstrate strong skills, as they play crucial role in ensuring the functioning of the healthcare system.

CMA Requirements 

To become a Certified Medication Aide, you must have your Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Georgia with no active findings (Good standing).
